Will just replacing the air filter on an '04 Sunfire make it sound any different?

Will replacing the stock air filter with a K&N air filter make it sound any louder?

Everything is stock.

It won't make the exhaust any louder, but you will hear a throater sound from the intake when you are accelerating hard.
