With a 135 amp alternator, what battery isolator should i use wattage wise?
I have a 2000 Crown Victoria LX Which has a 130/135 Amp alternator. I am not 100% sure about the amps on the alternator but i do know for sure the car does not have the police package. I am looking to upgrade my system but dont want to use the original
It should not make any difference about the isolator and alternator, the isolator is heavy enough to take the discharge of the battery which is about 700 amps. The diodes prevent one battery from back feed from the other so only one will get used.

A radically new approach to the design of batteries, developed by researchers at MIT, could provide a
An isolation transformer is a transformer used to transfer electrical power from a source of alternating current "AC" power to some equipment or device while isolating the powered device from the power source, usually for safety. An isolation transformer is made of two copper coils that are wound around each other and are each supplied by their own power source.
Getting to Mars is not easy, particularly when the interplanetary journey is measured in months instead of days. For robotic missions, the transit time poses no great challenge; as long as the batteries keep the mechanics from freezing, a robot doesn’t mind the wait. But a manned mission is another story. The fastest transit to Mars is currently in the neighborhood of 180 days or six months. That’s a long time for humans to sit and wait patiently. It’s not an easy job to keep men alive and...
Twelve men are trapped in a blizzard in the most isolated part of the world. Ok, not an ideal scenario, but we can think of worse. How about being forced to live in The Only Way is Essex for the rest of your days.
