what's a reasonable price to pay to replace 4 car shocks for a 2004 dodge neon?

I have a 2004 dodge neon. A mechanic told me that it would cost $600 to replace all 4 shocks. Is that a good price? Where can I find a better deal?

That's a terrible price. You can get a decent set for $150 and replace them in less than an hour.
