Engine Computer and Speedometer Question?

i took my car to a mechanic they told me i need it to change the Engine computer and spedometer cause their was no electricity running to the OBD so i bought the parts brought them to them they call my car was ready got their the car did not start they

I think that this mechanic is ripping you off. You probably didn't even need to get a new computer, you likely just had a bad ground or a blown fuse for your diagnostic port.And as far as the speedometer, it has NO connection to the OBD port. The main
