Is it possible to rebuild a GM 350 engine by yourself?

I have done lots of mechanical work before, but limited to alternators, thermostats, gaskets, fuel and water pumps, hanger bearings, motor mounts and brake rebuilds. I have never tried a transmission or engine rebuild. I will need to buy tools I know,

If you don't have a solvent tank you shouldn't bother, that said it is not hard everything must be cleaned to perfection if you want a good rebuild that will last. If you are not replacing all your lifters and rockers keep them in order so they go back
