What can go wrong with a Honda CRX HF if the distributor touches the positive post on the battery?
It's a 1989 Honda CRX HF. The distributor power wires were hooked up to the distributor and it was being installed when it touched the positive post on the battery. Now it has no spark. New distributor has been put in. Still no spark. Fuses under the
It is possible that you blew the engine control computer. Let's hope that it is just a fusible link that blew. It will save you a lot of time and headaches , and possibly a lot of money, to not try "parts swapping" to fix it, but have a reputable

@ by contrast, a 1988 Honda CRX HF got >50 MPG and they're still going, dirt cheap to maintain.

Nice and solid. I'd love to have one of these, though I'm not sure the 72hp HF model would be my first choice.
