How do you replace brake calipers?

I am going to be replacing my rotors and pads next week myself, i have done it on many cars many times and it quite simple. My car has a lot of miles and want to put new brake calipers on it but I am not sure if it is a major job, meaning is it as it

If your old calipers are fully functional, there should be no need to change them. It is nothing more than a hydraulic cyl. If you really have your heart set on changing them... As you should know by changing pads, the caliper is removed and the cyl.
